AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY HALL
Forming the backdrop to the village of McDonalds Corners is the centre of much of the community's activities, the Agricultural Hall and its fair grounds. The original structure dates back to the late 19th century, and retains the charm and functionality of the old dance hall.
Newer add-ons have made it a large double-halled entertainment centre. With its huge kitchen facilities and the outstanding culinary expertise of local volunteers, meals at The Hall take on a special taste of delicious down-home country. The hall is available to rent for any occasion.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
HILLTOP JAMBOREE : All year - 2nd Sunday of every month. Country music, dancing and old time "fiddling".
Doors open at noon -full course meal provided at 5 p.m..
HORSE PULL: June 20th starts at 10:00 a.m.
BRID & SMALL ANIMAL AUCTION : 3rd Sunday every March and October
MCDONALDS CORNERS FALL FAIR: Saturday September 26th.Horse shows, livestock shows,
crafts competitions and everything country and fun.The best little fair around.
CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR : October 25th.
NEW YEAR'S EVE. December 31. Gala dinner and dance.
