It has been said that there is nothing more magnificent than a horse. But the human who skillfully masters the horse becomes himself a noble creature. And nowhere is this more achievable than at Wolfegrove Rye-d'ers.

Nothing improves ones listening skills better than developing the art of communicating with a horse. Surrounded by the forest's natural beauty, gentle pathways meander leisurely along miles of woodland trails, providing the perfect setting for families and friends to truly bond.

As one learns the subtle body movements and quiet commands which the horse responds to, a trust develops between them, and then a magical thing happens. More than a family activity the ride becomes a family discussion. This is the special gift the horse gives lasting long after the ride ends.

Family, friends and individuals who are looking for a fun way to stay active are invited to join Gail and her family in experiencing the true benefits of getting back to basics - whether on horseback or in a team-drawn carriage.

Each ride begins with a group or individual lesson to acquaint you and your horse. Helmets - either riding helmets or other CSA approved sports helmets are mandatory and footwear must be solid, having a 1 to no more than 2 inch heel. Please wear comfortable loose fitting pants and outerwear suitable to the weather.
