Dalhousie Lake Restaurant is a fully licensed Canadian and Chinese food restaurant located on the grounds of Sylvania Lodge. The restaurant is open from mid-April until the end of November. This long establish business was recently purchased by the Ni family.

As a graduate of culinary school in China and with over 20 years experience there, Hua Ni was already a well qualified chef before immigrating to Canada with his wife Sally, son Nico ( son Paco was born in Canada). In Canada Hua spent an additional 20 years honing his skills, as Chef of The Imperial Restaurant in Toronto. But when the time came, Hua determined that retirement was not for him. That’s when he and his wife Sally and son Nico purchased Sylvania Lodge, on Dalhousie Lake. Hua runs the Dalhousie Lake Restaurant while Nico tends to the campgrounds and cottages of Sylvania Lodge.

Log walls lend a warm welcoming ambiance to our interior and a wrap-around veranda provides great views and spectacular sunsets over the lake.

Our fully licensed facility offers comfortable dining for singles, couples or families and whether in the main dining room, the veranda or the party room downstairs there is always room for your special occasions.

Whether you fancy Canadian or Chinese, we offer a wide selection of lunch and supper choices. Pick from our varied menus or enjoy our all-you-can-eat Chinese food buffet, served every evening starting at 4:30 p.m.
