Dalhousie Lake Cottage Rentals

Enjoy the vacation of a lifetime in the heart of Eastern Ontario’s Cottage Country at Sylvania Lodge Campground and Cottages.  Only a short drive from the U.S. border ‑ Pennsylvania and New York states ‑ This Land O’ Lakes facility is situated on Dalhousie Lake, the headwaters of Canada’s own Mississippi River.  The grounds boast waterfront along both the lake and the river. Sylvania Lodge has four well appointed housekeeping cottages on the campgrounds, for rent at family friendly prices. Rent by the week, month, or season, some weekends available. Each cottage has two bedrooms ‑ sleeps 4 comfortably ‑  with satellite TV, air/heat, fully equipped kitchens, decks, BBQ’s (propane included), fire pits, and picnic tables. All you have to bring is food and bedding. Spend evenings around your own campfire or join with your neighbours for friendly get‑togethers.

Sylvania Lodge cottage renters who want to try their hand at catching their own dinner will be glad to know that each two bedroom cottage rental comes with unlimited boat launching and dock space for your boat. *NOTE* If you plan on operating a motorized boat in Ontario, you will need to comply with all provincial registration and licensing requirements. If you don’t own a boat, you can rent a non‑motorized fishing boat or canoe right from Sylvania Lodge.

Because our cottages are situated within Sylvania’s family friendly campground, you will enjoy the peace and security without feeling too isolated. Our cottages and campground are so welcoming that it is not unusual for cottage renters to develop friendships with fellow guests that last a lifetime.

Since our Dalhousie Lake vacation cottage guests share the campground with our RV guests, we have had many people rent one of our Dalhousie Lake cottages and then turn around and rent an RV space from us year after year. We have many families who have vacationed with us for decades. We know that the environment that we strive to create is one of the many factors that keeps people coming back year after year, literally for generations.

Attention RV owners. Want to camp on Dalhousie Lake? Sylvania Lodge Campground reserves a few non‑seasonal RV serviced lots to rent.  However, you’ll end up like so many others, wanting to stay longer‑ so most of our sites are seasonal, and are located in three separate sections.  One surrounds a large open area perfect for children to play and friends to gather, another is nestled into a well treed mature woodlot, while the third section follows the Mississippi River.  Additionally, we are presently developing lakeside lots in our parkland along Dalhousie Lake. The campground is a safe, family friendly facility which has been the vacation destination for many of our families for generations.

In addition to being family friendly, we’re also pet friendly. Ask about our pet friendly policy when you book your Dalhousie Lake vacation cottage.

Sylvania Lodge campground’s Dalhousie Lake cottage rentals will surely create a vacation that you will remember for years to come. And you are a 20 minute drive from Perth and Canada’s oldest golf course, the Links O’Tay. Its original 3 holes built in 1890 still remain, but now as part of a full 18 hole course.

In addition to great golfing your Sylvania Lodge Cottages are only a few minutes from the Purdon Conservation area where you can stroll the boardwalks as you birdwatch in the fen or enjoy the beauty of the wild Lady Slipper Orchids for which it is famous.
